HEADING HOME TO DINNER 2018

We were delighted to participate in the 2018 HH2D fundraiser. Heading Home, Inc.’s mission is to end homelessness in Greater Boston by providing a supported pathway to self-sufficiency that begins with a home, together with critical services such as life skills, financial literacy, and job training.

KTID’s table, first conceived in response to Truman Capote’s famous “Black and White Ball,”
was also a comment about equality in today’s society.

Designxri

Conceived of in 2012 by a few like-minded design-loving types (pictured below), DESIGNxRI (DxRI) is
now a thriving nonprofit economic development organization with a mission to create an
opportunity-driven environment for RI designers, and design businesses. Design is a critical
economic sector that drives change globally, socially, and locally. Kelly is proud to
have been one of the original co-founders of this organization.

The Rhode Island Foundation sat down with Kelly and co-founder Libby Slader
to talk about why DESIGNxRI matters. Watch the video here:

DESIGNxRI coalesces the problem-solving, innovation-boosting, design talent in Rhode Island to create more business opportunities and nurture growth in the design industries in our state.
