TORI TOMO: Providence, RI
When our clients called us, they had shed their large house in East Greenwich and moved to downtown Providence — a move that took a lot of letting go! The downsize from 4000 square feet to a mere 1200 meant making a huge transition. Enter KTID, and we added much more than furnishings to their new home on the 23rd floor of The Residences downtown. Design-wise, their ask was GLAM. They wanted comfortable and chic — and all of that input steered us to design a space that felt less like an apartment and more like a luxury hotel suite. We painted every surface, selected all new furnishings, added dramatic lighting, hung gauzy drapery, updated both bathrooms, created a killer home office, designed a luscious bedroom and finished it off with a cozy terrace arrangement for watching the city beyond.
